End Of Mission 5 (PMD-F Chapter 5)

(In the world of Pokemon, there is the island of Tao, a small peaceful island of 15 million, and a place filled with dungeons. Dungeons are mysterious places filled with mystery. No one knows how they came to be or what their purpose was, but they have been known to hold many treasures and adventures. For most Pokemon, they are merely sights to behold, for some, however, they are filled with excitement and wishes. Pokemon who have wanted to explore these dungeons have formed large groups. These are the Pokemon Guilds, and they have devoted their very lives to exploring these dungeons. Many Guilds since the "Great Fall of Tao" have now docked the landscape of Tao, but there is a certain village with four guilds that soars high above the rest. Its name, is Kibo village, the town of hope.)

   It was 2 in the afternoon, the Commando and Outlaw guilds have successfully completed their mission and returned safely. The other guilds were also successful in their mission. The berries and mold cubes they have collected strayed across a counter close to a seemingly motionless Mew. A door then slowly creeks open with a figure creeping into the room. The figure was Kin, the guildmaster of the Traders guild. She quietly made her way over towards the small figure with a worried look on her face. The Florges was worried about the poor Pokemon and hoped that, with all the healing items, would be fine. She looked over the Mew before speaking in a hushed voice.

   
   "Oh...the poor dear... I hope they wake up soon..."
    Kin sighed softly. Just then, a soft groan echoed through the room. The Mew's eyes began to scrunch up slightly, their head now tilting to the side. 
   
   "A-ah..! They're waking up!" 
   This startled the Florges a bit. She couldn't believe it...the young one was waking up! Excited, Kin called out her fellow Pokemon to witness the event.
   
   "Miranda! Moe! Larry! Curly! They're waking up!"
   A loud crash could be heard from outside the room. The cause for the noise was none other than Team Three Stooges, a Riolu trio and the doctors of Kibo village. The door soon burst open with Miranda running to Kin's side along with Team Three Stooges. They all looked down at the feline, who was trembling while trying to open their eyes. A strange energy surrounded the Mew's body...
   
   "How are they...?"
   The Quilava spoke, looking up at the Florges.
   
   "I they're waking up..."
   The Mew's eyes then slowly opened, their vision blurring the Pokemon surrounding them. While the feline was coming to, Team Three Stooges put on their hospital masks. Mono's vision then started to clear up, giving them a better look at their surroundings. The Mew then moaned a bit, a throbbing pain seeming to constantly beat away at their head. 
   
   "Take it easy now, sweetie... Try not to push yourself..."
    Miranda gently placed a paw on the Mew's shoulder. The feline then spoke in a soft, aching voice.
   
   "W...where am I...? Why does my body feel sore....?"
   Kin and Miranda slowly looked over at the doctors before looking back at the Mew. One by one, the stooges looked at each other then to the left whilst making a cranking sound before looking back at the concerned duo.
   
   "W-well, you were harmed during a fall. One of our members soon found you and took you back to our village... Is that what you meant...?" 
   Their eyes slowly widen, not recognizing where they were then began to scream. As soon as that happened, a burst of pink energy surrounded them, forming a large bubble around them. The bubble knocked Team Three Stooges back, sending them flying into a cabinet.
   
   "W-who are you?? Why am I here?! Are you working with him?!"
   
    "What are you talking about?! We don't work for anyone!! We're just a guildmaster and a deputy! You are safe! Please, dear, calm down!"
   The Quilava tried her best to calm the now frightened Mew down. Kin, however, was not taking the fearful screams easy. She had her ears covered with tears forming in her eyes. The poor Florges hadn't hoped for this event to unfold...
   Just then, the Mew's sudden burst of energy ended with them falling back onto the ground, the force field fading away as they lay there panting.
   
   "Ugh... My psychic powers aren't as strong as they were before the attack..."
   Mono struggled to keep themselves up. They slowly lifted their head to look at their "captors".
   
   "W...what did you do to me...??"
   The Quilava sighed quietly, thinking to herself. 'Oh, I wish Haruhi was here... She's better at dealing with these situations...'
   
   "L-listen, sweetie. We didn't kidnap you... Just look at your body... We patched you up... If we had wanted to hurt you, then why would we ever bandage your wounds...?"
   Kin nodded before adding.
   
   "Indeed. There is no reason to be afraid~"
   The Mew lowered their ears, a bit puzzled.
   
  "Y-you...healed me...?"
   They then looked at themselves for a moment, now noticing their bandages. It seemed as though the strange Pokemon were right...
   
   "Huh... Those were never there before... But, that doesn't explain who you are..."
   Miranda smiled before introducing herself.
   
   "The name's Miranda. I'm the deputy of the Rangers Guild."
   
   "And I, darling, am Guildmaster Kin of the Traders Guild~"
   The warm smiles of the duo made the Mew feel slightly more comfortable. They then rose to their feet before politely bowing before them.
   
   "I am deeply sorry for my unnecessary behavior, Miss Miranda and Madam Kin..."
   
   "My name is Mono."
   Kin then placed her hand on the Mew's shoulder.
   
   "Aww, it's OK. I just hope you didn't strain yourself... We used plenty of healing items on you so you may have felt slightly numb during all this."
   The Mew rubbed their head a bit. At least they now knew the cause of the numbness they felt. Maybe the same could be said about how their powers abruptly shutting down. They then looked over the Riolu trio, who were covered in bandages and pieces of equipment. Mono's ears lowered slightly then looked over at Kin.
   
   "U-uh... Are they...alright...?"
   Kin looked over the the trio before looking back at the Mew.
   
   "Don't worry, they're fine. They are the doctors who patched you up...~"
   Mono sighed a little. They could feel a bit of guilt washing over them as they stared at the Riolu. A soft, pink glow surrounded the Mew before they began to levitate a few inches off the ground. The feline then floated over to the Riolu trio.
   
   "S-sorry about knocking you three back..."
   One of the Riolu then stood up, brushing the debris off himself.
   
   "Oh... It's fine, kid. Come on, you numskulls!"
   Moe then bonked the other two Riolu on the head before leaving. Mono chuckled nervously before looking back at Kin and Miranda.
   
   "S-so... Uhh... You think you two can show me around? I'd like to know the area I'm in."
   Hearing this made the duo smile brightly.
   
   "We'd be more than happy to."
   
   "OH, WHY OF COURSE, DEARY~"
   The Mew smiled back at their new friends, a soft glow of aura surrounding their body. Before leaving the building, the Quilava informed Mono about it.
   
   "The place we're in right now is the Medical Ward. Pokemon come here if they are in need of medical assistance."
   A medical ward? Well, it made a lot of sense seeing as how there was plenty of medical equipment around. As Mono carefully surveyed the supplies, two new Pokemon entered the room. The duo consisted of a Paras and a Venonat. Once Miranda had noticed them, she walked over and greeted them.
   
   "Hello Spencer, Dex." 
   
   "Ah, hello, Miss Miranda..."
   The Paras looked behind Miranda and saw the Mew standing behind her.
   
   "Oh! They're awake! They're awake!!"
   Dex then turned his attetion back to the Quilava that stood before him.
   
   "Oh! Hello, Miranda!"
   He blushed softly while looking at her. Mono eyed the two new Pokemon before floating towards the duo.
   
   "Hello there...! Who might you two be?"
   
   "I'm Dex!" The little Paras answered.
   He seemed a little shy, yet excited. The Venonat gave a slight bow.
   
   "And I am Spencer. I...it's nice to meet you."
   He seemed rather timid whilst introducing himself. Mono soon felt a hand on their shoulder. Looking up, they saw that the hand belonged to Kin.
   
   "These two are apart of my guild...~"
   Miranda then reached out her paw.
   
   "Shall we continue?"
   The Mew looked at her before taking her paw.
   
   "Of course...~"
   For the rest of the afternoon, Kin and Miranda showed Mono around the village. During the tour, Mono had discovered many new Pokemon that they have never seen. As soon as the sun began to set, the trio headed over to the Trader guild. The young Mew let out a quiet yawn while gently rubbing their eye. They had a rather long and interesting day... Now, it was time for them to sleep. Kin noticed Mono wobbling around, trying to keep their balance and picked them up. She looked over at Miranda, smiling, The two then said goodnight, and headed off to bed. Though, with the Mew now under their care, things will soon turn to the worst...
